Allied Glass Appoints Head of Human Resources

Allied Glass Containers, the Yorkshire based premium glass packaging manufacturer, has recently appointed Trish Sharkey to the post of Head of Human Resources.  To be based at the company’s head office in Leeds, she will lead the HR team and report directly to Allied’s Operations Director Richard Summers, who says about her appointment:

Allied Wins World Whisky Design Award

Allied Glass Containers has recently been awarded the Best Bottle accolade at the inaugural World Whisky Design Awards for The Naked Grouse bottle manufactured for The Edrington Group. Praised for being an excellent and original bottle and a great example of challenging existing whisky packaging, The Naked Grouse bottle was particularly applauded for its creative and effective use of embossing for the grouse, allowing the bottle to work without the need for a label.
